Don’t know what to do in Sweden as a group? Why not try a guided hiking and meal experience for small private groups in southern Sweden? Enjoy the beautiful natural and cultural landscapes as you discover the flavors of Swedish cuisine and local ingredients on your outdoor meal experience. Above all, we only source from local farms and food artisans, all carefully selected based on an integrated approach to good tastes, healthy diets and sustainability. Simply put, it is an experience within the boundaries of our planet.

We would go through lush deciduous forests and see open agricultural landscapes with wonderful views of Lake Vättern and Visingsö island. You will also have the opportunity to swim in Lake Vättern at the end of the hike. Don’t worry, it is an easy hike between two and six kilometers long, and is suited for most people. You will learn more about the landscape you are hiking in, the history of the region, and the food and drinks served. As well as, know more about the importance of the biosphere reserve area for sustainable development.

Slow down and taste exciting foods and drinks from the region’s fruit and berry farms. There will also be coffee, tea, and sweet snacks after the meal. We wouldn’t use any disposable materials and create waste.

The meal’s theme

The meal’s theme is locally produced and sustainable with a focus on plant-based dishes. If you want, the “Traditional” menu contains elements of meat and fish. You get to choose in advance between three options; Traditional, Vegetarian (Lacto-ovo) or Vegan menu. Drinks are included in the price.

Length: Approx. 3-4 hours. Around half way of the hike, we will stop and rest to enjoy our meal. After that, we will continue and finish the hike.

We offer this experience at Uppgränna (we start and finish at the parking lot for Girabäcken nature reserve).

This experience follows pandemic guidelines: We will keep our distance from each other, and the food will be served on pre-prepared plates instead of a buffet.

We will also be grateful if you tell us you intend to bring your dog on the tour beforehand when you make a booking.

Changes in booking and booking cancellation

Changes in the number of portions can be made after both parties, the customer and Agrigera AB, reach a common agreement.

The customer will notify Agrigera AB the final total number of servings, and any food allergies and such, no later than 14 calendar days before the booked event start date.

In case of cancellation made 4 – 13 calendar days before the event, half of the total booking price will be invoiced. Cancellation later than three calendar days (72 hours before the start of the booked event) means that the entire price of the booking will be invoiced.

Payment

Payment is made in advance via invoice (due date 10 days after invoice date), which is sent by e-mail, or through online payment. You can pay via invoice or Swish. You will find payment instruction in your booking confirmation email.

Force majeure

Agrigera AB is not liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling the booking, if fulfilling the booking is prevented by force majeure. Force majeure includes war, extensive labor dispute, blockade, fire, environmental disaster, serious spread of infection, or any other circumstance beyond our control that prevents us from fulfilling our obligations under this Agreement, or if the fulfilment is based on new circumstances beyond our control that can only be carried out at an abnormally high cost.

You hereby consent and understand that we can use any photo that is taken in connection with the event for our marketing, or similar, purposes, as long as nothing else has been agreed.
