Trout fishing season is open April –
September. Normally no need to pre book day permits but during the
main hatch, especially in may, fishing during weekends might be
blocked (we never want the stretch to be crowded). To be sure, check with the Fishing
Centre at Vidinge Gård in advance).
All brown trout is C&R, all
fishing with barbless single hooks (flies and spinners available at
Vidinge Gård).
The character of the river is ranging
from hard strides to gentle pools and sections.
Some places are hard to reach whereas
others are more easily accessible.
Along the river there are wind shelters
with campfire pits where firewood is available for free for anyone
with a valid fishing permit.
Staying at the Lodge/Fishing Center at
Vidinge Gård guarantees you the right to fishing permits during your
entire stay.
We will provide maps and information to
make sure you go to good fishing spots and spend the day fishing
instead of driving around on dirtroads getting lost in the forest.
